I find myself becoming involved with an ever increasing amount of activities. The following lists projects I have been working on recently.

Ray Power Energy Consulting (睿能世纪), Research Assistant

I worked on a research project on the use of energy storage for frequency regulation in power systems.

The China Economist, Energy and Environment Editor

The China Economist run by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) is a journal that publishes Chinese academic papers on social science issues in English for an international audience. I work on environmental and energy papers.

Professional Association for China’s Environment (PACE) Environmental China Newsletter, Editor

I work in a two-person team to edit the weekly newsletter Environmental China that is sent to over one thousand professionals working in environmental issues in China. It is also available online in a blog format.

Greening the Beige, Blog Contributor

Greening the Beige (GtB) is a small environmental NGO based in Beijing, working to spread awareness, understanding, and support for environmental protection through events and community interaction. I contribute to the organization’s blog, reporting on environmental topics, environmental events, as well as doing media outreach for the organization itself.

TheCityFix, Contributor

The World Resources Institute’s EMBARQ sustainable transport and cities program manages TheCityFix blog, which provides insight on sustainable transport issues, report briefings and opinions as well as interviews with interviews with global leaders in the field. The blog recently suspended its Hindi program to begin a Brazilian program. I am a contributor to this blog.
